Here we are offering a Heiser – Keyston Drop Loop Gun Belt #9 &
Double Loop Side Holster M-21 in 90% New Condition showing minimal
signs of wear. This Heiser – Keyston piece is very interesting
and relatively rare considering the H-K Sportsman line existed
only 6+ years from 1957 when Keyston acquired Heiser it was 1964
when Keyston Brothers bought and added Lichtenberger to the mix.
We have added all the original catalog pages from the Heiser –
Keyston Catalog from 1957 pertinent to this item so you can see
exactly what this is many people are unfamiliar with product lines
as these Companies merged together. The #9 Drop Loop Gun Belt is
fully floral tooled with 22 individual and adjustable ammo loops
completely intact with the original strap and clip, the strap
allows for adjustments from .22 caliber up to .45 caliber. This
beautiful Drop Loop Gun Belt measures 36” at the smallest hole
setting on the billet (belt strap) and adjusts up to 41” at the
largest hole setting on the belt strap, also there are 6 holes
total spaced 1” apart from each other. The M-21 Double Loop Side
Holster has a snap back for easy removal from the Gun Belt and the
holster skirting. The M-21 part number also designates a group of
revolvers this holster is made to fit which is linked to the
description page for this item. The design was to allow the owner
to have one belt with multiple interchangeable holsters in
multiple calibers it was a very interesting concept reflective of
the times in the early 1960s. The Gun Belt carries the Oval
Heiser Denver Colorado makers mark logo, while the holster carries
the Sportsman Line logo from the H-K line of gun leather. This
set dates from the 1957 through 1964 and this is easily dated do
to the small window this line was available from the Heiser -
Keyston Company.
