 This is one Beautiful S. D. Myres Saddle Company Tooled Leather Saddle in 90% New Condition. This incredible S. D. Myres Saddle comes completely hand tooled with a 15" seat, full quarter horse bars, 3" cantle displaying the S. D. Myres maker mark, 2 1/2" horn, 15" Swells, 6" Gullet, Braided leather stirrups, the latigo carrier displays maker mark S. D. Myres El Paso, TX, the saddle also has flawless fleece lining. The S. D. Myres Saddle Company was known not only for their superior craftsmanship in making saddles, but they were believed to have had the finest leather carvers in the industry.

This Saddle Dates from the early 1940s through the early 1950s and for a Saddle this age she is absolutely gorgeous !! The S. D. Myres Saddle Company was known to have made saddles for some of the most famous Cowboy's of the West as well his Saddle were ridden by Dignitaries & Statesman.

The history of S. D. Myres Saddle Company is very important in Texas history and " TIO SAM MYRES " was not only known as one the finest saddle makers of the Old West but he was well known and respected throughout Texas as well as nationally. Tio Sam Myres believed greatly in education and supported the University of Texas and donated much of his personal Old West Collection to the University of Texas.
