Victor Marden Saddlery History


In 1874 Victor Marden was born in The Dalles, Oregon and in 1892 Victor Marden served as an apprentice at the Saddlery of Farley & Trout after his graduation from the Pacific University at Forest Grove. By 1900, Victor Marder had opened his own Saddlery that he operated from the one location until 1915. In 1951, Victor Marden died in Portland, Oregon, but it was said throughout his career as a saddle maker that he was one of the finest saddle makers in the Oregon Territory.
