This item we are offering is an Al Furstnow Skeleton Shoulder Holster #3 in 80% New Condition showing minimal wear. This is a fantastic Shoulder Holster made by one of the Premier Saddle Makers of the Old West The Al Furstnow Company of Miles City, Montana from 1884 1946. We had to replace the cross straps on this beautiful Al Furstnow #3 Skeleton Shoulder Holster because all of the original strapping was missing when I received this awesome Rig. We did all we could to keep the period authenticity of this Skeleton Shoulder Holster and it came out beautifully as you can see by the pictures.
The Al Furstnow Company made this #3 Skeleton Shoulder Holster to carry either the Colt 1903 .32 ACP (M1903) or the Colt 1903 .38 ACP (M1908) for a Right Hand Shooter.
We have gone over this entire #3 Skeleton Shoulder Holster and it is ready to use although I would not use it to much it is a piece of his and it has to be at least 64 years old and could have been made as early as the 1890s. The Cartouche or maker mark is consistent with the Oblong maker mark used by the Al Furstnow Company of Miles City, Montana from the 1890s through the 1940s.
